Calimeer is a substantial, tall, powerful young stallion with the most
fantastic temperament.
He is Polish/Old English bred with a dash of
Egyptian in his pedigree through the great Sire El Shaklan.
He has
a huge powerful movement and 8.5inches of bone.
He was bred at the
world famous Biddesden Stud, in Andover Hampshire by the Hon Finn Guinness .
Through him we are aiming to breed good quality performance horses, true to type, with excellent
conformation and fabulous temperaments.
His half brother, Erodium,
who was bred at Biddesden, out of Calamintha, is now eventing in Canada and is being placed every time out.
There are many great horses in his pedigree;
Eukaliptus, who was bred by Janow Podlaski State Stud, was a Champion himself and was the sire of 4 Polish
National Champion Mares.
Edeon, who was bred at the Michalow State
Stud, was Polish National Champion as a 2yr old. Since Importation he has won at major shows, in hand and under saddle, and
won the Senior stallion class at the National show at Malvern. He then went on to win at the Polish International Arab show
at Poznan and was also reserve champion.
